AdvocacyAnywhere is an autism support project run by autism advocate and youth leader Joel Wilson. We first heard of Joel’s plight in an article in the West Australian newspaper where he mentioned he wanted to setup a website but lacked the expertise. Intertec contacted Joel and offered to volunteer our time as it was all for a good cause.
Joel required a revamp of his existing website that would be bright and uplifting. Intertec started by designing a brand new logo which was colourful and inspiring. By asking the right questions and paying close attention to detail we met Joel’s vision with our first ‘cut’ logo design. The website was developed using WordPress CMS and includes features such as:
- News & Blog section which allows guest posts from other bloggers.
- User forums area
- User chat functionality
Concluding the project Intertec provided Joel with WordPress training on how to maintain his new website and the website went live in September 2013.
